Christian Homestay in Phnom Penh

Our HOUSE is a Cambodian (and Western) family run Homestay Guest House. It`s build in the Beung Tum Poung area of Phnom Penh – 10 min. by motorcycle from the russian market. For a little amount we welcome christian backpacker, tourists and people on short-term mission trips – linked to churches, NGOs and Christian organistions.

We have nice private en-suite guest rooms – all with balconies – a choice of double, twin or family rooms.

We have a guests’ kitchen; a tuk-tuk what you can hire and everyone is welcome to eat dinner with our family – we enjoy excellent Khmer food

Our home is a lovely way to connect with Cambodia - You can see the real Cambodia away from the touristways.

Please contact us for availability and for the pick and drop up to the airport transfers.

For leisure tourists we support Cambodians not foreign investors and we recommend Cambodian tour companies, which we know personally.

Check out the tour companies we recommend -

Reference from our Guestbook:

Exploring the North of Cambodia; seeing the fresh water dolphins and riding elephants was just fantastic for me. I had an amazing time in Cambodia – a perfect balance of activity and relaxation (Di – April 2010)

Thank you for showing me ‘real Cambodia’ without you I would not have got away from the tourist trap. A home stay in a remote village and riding on an ox-cart were the highlights of my holiday (Mark – April 2011)

Visiting Cambodia opened our eyes to the plight of most people in our known world – it has changed our view on the land and also  our lives. Staying at The House gave us an opportunity to work on different humanitarian projects. The highlight was working with a team of Cambodians to bring relief (food and medicine) to flood victims (John and Kerry – Jan 2012)

As for Cambodia – we loved the whole experience and send you huge quantities of inadequate thanks. What an experience!!! We got a real feeling for Cambodia – in depth and rounded… the kind of understanding that doesn’t come easily… and never comes at all on the usual types of tour/holiday/package etc. …. … thank you for something very special. We feel like we are entitled to say we ‘know’ Cambodia in a small but significant way. (Dr and Mrs Jon Brown UK – July 2013)

Thank you for welcoming me to your home. I arrived with an empty heart and in two months it was filled with God’s love (CB France – September 2014)
